you know what’s dumb
the concept of treating adolescents like children throughout the entirety of their teenage years and then at around age 17 pulling a complete 180 and expecting them to decide within the next couple years what they want to do with the rest of their lives
you put it in words
Everyone, I need your help. I found this dog, just like this, outside my house. He’s lost and in need of a good home. He’s dirty, he’s fluffy, and he’s one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. After a little coaxing from the shy thing, he made his way over to me and sat right by my side. He just stared at me with big puppy dog eyes and just looked like he needed love.
We gave him some water, but he refused to eat (Probably because we didn’t have any dog food, we tried cat food). He’s leashed to a pole in our backyard now, as he’s too dirty to let in the house. He’s covered in burrs, mud, and probably other unmentionables. He’s not neutered, his claws are untrimmed. He’s a stray. Poor thing, if we had the money and if my mom wasn’t a total dog-phobic, we’d keep him, but money is tight right now, and we can’t have a dog.
If you know anyone who lives in the Denton/Dallas/McKinney area in Texas, please send them my way. I know this is a stupid nerdy roleplay account but this is a personal issue that I think can only be resolved through the power of the internet. Please, I need help here.
All I need from the person in question is a promise to give him a good home. This little guy’s been though a lot, and he needs a rest.
